yinchuan, located in the northwest inland area, has been relying on its international highway and railway logistics port to connect with the eastern coastal cities and to the west, further promoting the development of a local open economy.
according to guo yu, deputy director of the yinchuan international highway and railway logistics service center, the port primarily utilizes combined highway and railway transportation, radiating internally to neighboring regions such as shaanxi, gansu, inner mongolia, and north china, while externally connecting to seaports and airports, constructing a logistics channel that focuses on domestic circulation and mutually promotes international and domestic dual circulation.
currently, the yinchuan international highway and railway logistics port has achieved coverage of over 50 ports and cities in 12 countries, including vietnam, south korea, japan, thailand, india, and the united arab emirates. seven shipping companies have included yinchuan as a departure port in their global shipping systems, making yinchuan the main channel for exporting products of enterprises in the region and neighboring areas to the sea.
"since its inaugural operation in 2016, the freight train has primarily exported over 100 types of goods, including goji berries, fruit juice, amino acids, coal chemicals, machinery and equipment, aluminum rods, and daily necessities," said guo.
at present, the yinchuan international highway and railway logistics park has attracted more than 30 contracted enterprises, and formed a complete industrial chain system led by warehousing logistics and processing manufacturing.
