the region sought cooperation with nine central state-owned enterprises in
beijing on the exploration of overseas markets.
in beijing, ningxia's delegation has introduced the social and economic development of the region, the china-arab states expo as well as the local economic cooperation zones.
cui yanxiang, deputy director of ningxia's department of commerce, expressed willingness to leverage the overseas resource advantages of central state-owned enterprises and ningxia's local companies to carry out higher-level and broader-scope cooperation. he hoped that both sides would further strengthen communication and business coordination to create business opportunities for economic and trade cooperation, as well as achieve win-win cooperation.
representatives of the central state-owned enterprises -- including china communications construction, powerchina international, china railway construction corporation international investment co., ltd., cscec international, china-africa development fund, china national chemical engineering, and citic construction -- expressed that ningxia, as an important region serving the construction of the belt and road initiative (bri), possesses unique advantages. they look forward to further expanding the cooperation based on existing projects, driving more ningxia's enterprises to expand internationally, and continuously achieving new results in promoting the high-quality development of the bri.
going forward, ningxia's department of commerce will further support the overseas industrial parks in ningxia to attract investment and drive the export of ningxia's technology and products, achieving integrated development of investment trade, and engineering in the region.
