the forum on high-quality meteorological development and cooperation this year is the first meteorology forum held during the china-arab states expo. it is also one of the eight sub-events of the expo.

roundtable meetings, parallel forums, and smart meteorological exhibits will be held to share and discuss cooperation information in the field of meteorology between china and arab states. they include the signing of cooperation agreements, exchanges of the domestic and foreign experts in meteorology, and display of advanced meteorological equipment and technological achievements.

xu xianghua, deputy director of the department of international cooperation, china meteorological administration, stated that the exhibition aims to create a platform for one-stop solutions in smart meteorology and integrated meteorological equipment technology for air, space, and ground. it is expected to provide opportunities for the cooperation between domestic and foreign exhibitors and companies, showcase the fengyun series meteorological satellite and its applications, support disaster prevention, reduction, and economic and social development along the belt and road.
